Office Policies and Procedures
Natural therapies
offered at the Chesapeake Holistic Health Center complement the
at-home care you provide your family as well as your medical care.
The essence of natural health care is to promote your body’s
innate ability to heal on its own and to provide you with the
relaxation and peace of mind that you are nurturing your body,
mind and spirit. Holistic nutrition,
enzyme & herbal therapy, homeopathy, craniosacral therapy,
therapeutic massage and lymphatic drainage therapy are all natural care
approaches that can improve your overall health and wellbeing and
complement your current health practice.
OFFICE HOURS (by appointment):
Laura generally sees clients two days a week and she makes house calls. There is some flexibility in the following schedule, accommodations can often be made and are worked out with clients on an individual basis.

Monday 11:00am – 7:00pm
Tuesday 4:00pm - 7:00pm

OFFICE POLICIES:
To insure a pleasant treatment experience, please review the
following guidelines:

Please be on time for your
appointment. Your appointment begin and ends as scheduled. If you are late, you will receive a shorter session. You are still required to pay for the full session. If you are over 20 minutes late, it is considered a missed appointment.

24-hour cancellation notice.
Missed appointments and
appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the day of your
appointment are payable in full. Payment must be made prior to
rescheduling another appointment. We accept Checks/Cash/Visa/MasterCard/American Express for payment. With the following exception:

Traffic jams, sick kids, and other emergencies can throw the most organized clients and therapists off schedule occasionally. If you must cancel appointment with less than 24 hours notice we ask that you immediately reschedule another appointment within one week.

Laura Inman Mitchell, CST, is a highly trained CranioSacral therapist who works with people of all ages and specializes in pediatrics. Laura facilitates the body's healing processes from the earliest beginnings. Her training in the following fields and techniques provides her with the skills to best facilitate a client's CranioSacral session:
